Isebantu William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope Kadhumbula IV King of Busoga
The Isebantu (Father of the people), is the fourth Kyabazinga of Busoga kingdom
Parentage
His Majesty, Isebantu William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope Kadhumbula IV, is the fourth and reigning Kyabazinga of Busoga kingdom. He is son to Wilson Gabula Nadiope III who was one a Uganda government minister. He is grandson to William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Nadiope II who was Kyabazinga of Busoga for two between 1949 to 1922 and 1962 to 1966
Education
His Majesty attended Victoria Nile Primary School, Winston Day & Boarding Primary School and Lohana Academy for his primary education. He later joined Busoga College Mwiri for his O-level education and Kyambogo College for his A-level education. He was admitted to Kyambogo University where he graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Economics. His Majesty proceeded to attend Coventry University, UK and graduated with a first class Masters degree in Business Administration.
Career
At the time of his coronation, His Majesty was employed as an economist in the Ministry Of Energy and Mineral Resources
Taking the throne
On August 23,2014, the hereditary chief of Bugabula, Gabula, William Wilberforce Nadiope was unanimously elected as the Kyabazinga of Busoga kingdom
His Majesty was coronated on September 13, 2014 on a ceremony that was attended by many dignitaries including the president of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
